The pathway

Roadbook
Take Bidda Mores river bed valley floor. The trail, rather wide, is sometimes upset by past floods. Near some olive trees on the right are the ruins of a sheepfold. Continue on the valley floor, starting to climb gradually and keeping on the left the Canale Tuvus.
The trail leads to an area of oaks and high scrub, that offers beautiful views to the south. The trail continues on the right, always on the remains of the dirt that gradually descends heading southwest, traversing the slopes and changing direction near an obvious hairpin bend where, going right, it’s possible to quickly reach D 214 (however not signposted). Continue on the dirt road for a long stretch until the trail crosses another forest track.
The dirt road encountered is the trail that connects Is Antiogus to Medau Monte Nieddu and represents the main trail in the area, so it is in excellent conditions. Take a slight left downhill, still keeping left at the next junction and continuing to descend gradually in the area often frequented by deer.
At a last junction, after a long and gradual descent, keep right, until you reach the building of Medau Monte Nieddu, managed by the Fo.re.s.t.a.s. Agency.
