The first 500 metres of the path end on a dirt road from where you’ll have to cross the provincial road (n.8), the same road that the path meets, a few kilometres further on, at its final point.
From Rio Longufresu you arrive at the fork with the branch-off (T-204 A) that leads up towards the caves of Is Janas at Sadali: this is the first section of the route, which consists of an almost continuous, straight descent for about 1950 m, taking you from an altitude of 892m a.s.l. to about 760 m.
From this crossroads, a further downhill stretch of less than 500m long leads to the natural monument of Su Stampu de su Turrunu, a must-see on this route. In this stage of the route, you’ll also encounter the crossroads-intersection with trail 203 (the trail that leads to the Guado Salassi ford).
The last stretch varies in gradient before climbing slightly towards the Geomineral Park area, in the area called "Cantoniera n.7 Addolì", where the route links up with provincial road number 8 of the Province of Nuoro.
