How to get there
If you’re setting off from Cagliari, at Monserrato you need to take the SS 387 road then, after passing S. Andrea Frius, the SS 547. After Senorbì follow the SS 128 road and at the junction for Serri turn right onto the SS 198 in the direction of Sadali.
From Nuoro, meanwhile, the best option is to follow the SS 389 road and, after the village of Villanova Strisaili , take the SS 198. You can also reach Sadali by taking the trenino verde or little green train. A bus service is also available, carrying paying tourists from the train station to the cave of Is Janas.
Other Information
The cave can be visited every day from 10 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. From October to March it is open only on Sundays. The entrance fee of € 6.00 includes a cave guide service and bus transport to and from the train station in the town centre.
