The pathway
Roadbook
The itinerary starts from the provincial road SP 83 on the Portixeddu coast passing by Sa Forada de s'Amministrazioni and Punta Balla Bausu, a former fire watchtower. It crosses a series of hairpin bends at Arcu on Lurdagu, where it runs alongside the stream called Mitza su Fracci.
From this vantage point you can glimpse the natural barrier lake of Piscina Morta. The trail then leads downhill through the area called Su Landiri Marru, where you can admire some splendid specimens of Kermes oak, which have formed spontaneous mixed stands with the endemic Stone pine at the Portixeddu forestry authority site.
The trail proceeds to Antiogu Cadeddu, Mount Gennargentu and Quaddu Murru, arriving at the intersection with trail D-305, after which it goes through s'Ega su Solu to reach the arrival point, the Su Solu intersection with trail D-303.
