Inside the service center, there is a xylotheque and a collection of forest seeds of the species present in our region; exhibition sectors describe the activities of the Ente Foreste della Sardegna (Forestry Agency of Sardinia) with ancient documents and work tools, firefighting activities, nursery and wildlife activities, plant parasite attacks, etc. A sector is dedicated exclusively to the cork oak, as proof of its value in Sardinia.
The perimeter is equipped with a rest area with picnic tables and water taps (non-potable). There are various trails to walk exclusively on foot, one of which leads to the highest point of the forest perimeter, Punta Sisinneddu, which houses the summer fire lookout point and the astronomical observation pillars of the Sardinian Amateur Astronomers Association.
