The pathway

Starting from the Noci Barracks, you go along a short stretch of the dirt road to Maidopis where you’ll see the signposts on the right indicating the start of the path. Alternatively, walk a few metres of trail no. 815 and then take the path (signposted) which leads from just next to the hut used by the forestry Fire Fighters back to the start of the path.
You follow a mule track that climbs gradually through the forest in a southerly direction, keeping Bruncu Mastinarxius on your right. The mule track crosses a beautiful holm oak forest, then changes direction following the mountain slopes as the gradient levels off, until it reaches a flat widening at Arcu Mastinarxius.
In Arcu Mastinarxius there is a path on the right that would allow you to easily connect with trail 815, which is very close by. Instead, go left heading downhill along a mule track that runs above the Riu Mastinarxius, continuing to descend via a couple of hairpin bends and crossing the thalweg at a small ford, after which you rejoin trail 814.
