Nuraghi and other places of history and archaeology
The archaeology of the landscape in Sardinia is dominated by the ancient Nuraghi: majestic stone fortresses, so mysterious and extraordinary that they have become a symbol of an entire Land. As Giovanni Lilliu (a distinguished Sardinian scholar) used to say: 'they signify... beyond the virgin and boundless nature, beyond the sea...'.
