The pathway

The route begins in the town of Ulassai near the artwork "il Lavatoio” (The Wash House) by Maria Lai and Nivola. In the initial section, for a little more than 100 m, it piggybacks trail C-503, which it crosses again at the end of the route.
The first section, about 1 km long, is almost entirely on dirt road, and leads to the works of Maria Lai and to the Su Marmuri Caves, where it connects to the West with the "Su Marmuri" trail C-505. After the first 500 metres you start a climb that leads from an altitude of 500 metres a.s.l. to over 800 metres.
The second and final stretch of this short trail arrives, with virtually the same elevation, at a second intersection with trail 503, on the hillside overlooking Osini.
To return to Ulassai you can continue along the 503 or retrace your steps back along this trail (504).
