The point of interest

About 1:45 from the starting point on the provincial road to Siliqua, Arcu de sa Mossa represents a "pass" through which you can reach the more internal and wild area of this corner of Gutturu Mannu: from this point onwards you can admire the peaks where the trail leads: Caravius, Gruxitta, Sa Mirra and further back the ridges of Lattias...

How to get here

It can be reached by traveling the first five kilometers of trail 221, and it represents the last easily accessible point along the dirt road which, from here onwards, becomes almost impassable without an off-road vehicle. From this point, the dirt track is passable with a curious "one-way system" justified by the fact that the usable width would prevent two-way traffic, and therefore it was decided to use two separate dirt tracks for each direction of travel, which leads to the Giriadroxiu valley.
