The pathway

The trail starts from the village of Sadali, crossing striking panoramic vantage points such as Vedetta di Bruncu 'e su Stendardu, and continuing on to Arcu 'e Spineddai.

It’s a very easy itinerary to complete as it follows unpaved roads all the way, making it suitable for everyone without the need to be accompanied by a guide. The route is included in the SCI (Site of Community Interest) area of the Gennargentu Mountains.

The municipality of Sadali features various tourist attractions: the Ecomuseum of the Flumendosa, the house-museum " Sa omu 'e zia Cramella", the church of San Valentino, the church of Sant’Elena and the watermill in the old town.

How to get there by car:

From Cagliari you drive along the SS 131 road until the junction with SS 128 for Senorbì.
Continue to the junction at Isili then take the SS 198 road to Sadali.
From Sassari you follow the SS 131 road until the junction for Simaxis (Or), from there you head in the direction of Laconi and Villanovatulo, and then take SS 198 to Sadali.
From Oristano you follow the SS 131 road until the junction for Simaxis, from there you head in the direction of Laconi and Villanovatulo, and then take the SS 198 road to Sadali.
From Nuoro you follow the SS 389 road, then the SS 198 to Sadali.
From Olbia you follow the SS 131 bis road, take the exit for Nuoro, drive along the SS 389 and then take the SS 198 road to Sadali.
