From Pala de Nuraxi to the goat pen at Addolì crossroads (T-204)

Following the T- 204 trail, you can reach several important natural monuments. 

The cave of Is Janas, in the territory of Sadali, extends for about 350 m along an almost entirely  visitable route (five out of the six chambers) with a guide service. According to the legend, the caves were the home of three janas, folk tale creatures considered to be half fairies and half witches. The Is Janas cave has some interesting geological features, such as a long corridor measuring 280 m. It opens with a rectangular-shaped entrance, set in a lush holm oak wood.

Lying at approximately 750 m asl, the territory of Sadali is characterised by varied landscape, alternating mountain peaks and high plateaus. Unlike most Sardinian mountain villages, it has wide tree-lined streets, which narrow down as you head towards the town centre, which has maintained its ancient appearance.

A few steps from the cave, you will find the fascinating waterfall of Su Stampu ’e su Turrunu, tumbling from a height of 16 m. It gushes from a hole and at its base forms a delightful pond surrounded by a grove of holm oaks and elder trees. Sadali is also the only place in Sardinia with a waterfall right in the middle of town, the Valentino waterfall.
