The point of interest

A very panoramic and windy point along the Alta Via (High Route), after crossing the border between the territory of Villacidro and Gonnosfanadiga, proceeding along a dirt road, up to an altitude of 1026 meters.

It can also be considered an intermediate point, a saddle or "genna" (pass) between Punta Cammedda and Punta Acqua Zinnigas (two of the highest peaks on this side of the Linas mountain range).

From here, continue along an unmarked trail that allows you to reach the summit of Acqua Zinnigas, elevation 1136m, characterized primarily by low vegetation consisting of thyme, helichrysum, and heather.

How to get here

Along trails 101 (Linas eastern high route) or 112/112A, or by going up along 105 from Perd'e Pibera.

Genna Eidadi is a crossroads between the high route (101) and 105 (towards Perd'e Pibera), and 112A (which connects towards 112, a very important trail connecting Cantina Ferraris and Ovile Linas).
