Sos Nibberos - Monte Rasu (G 602 E )

The trail connects the summit of Monte Rasu (Sa Punta Manna) with the RES near the access to the natural monument of Sos Nisseros. 

The trail develops along the forest track and as it gains altitude, the trees give way to shrubby forms where thyme becomes prevalent. The view from the top of Monte Rasu ranges up to Meilogu, to the  Baronie up to the Campidano flat.

The trail crosses agricultural areas, especially in the immediate vicinity of the railway line, places of particular naturalistic interest, such as the historic Fiorentini forest, and archaeological-historical sites, such as the nuraghe Su Tassu, the chapel of N.S. of Fatima and the country church of S. Francis and St. Clare. At the Fiorentini Forestry Barracks there is an area reserved for parking.
