Trail 311A passes through a rich vegetation of bay trees and various other tree and shrub species including the holm oak, pubescent oak and strawberry tree.
The trail fords the Gabaru stream, which once fed the watermills, and comes across another impressive railway viaduct with pylons and arches.
The rich wildlife comprises birds such as the buzzard, common raven, jay, woodpigeon, thrush, woodcock, bee-eater and house martin; reptiles include the colubrid snake, aquatic turtle and tortoise; mammals include the fox, hedgehog and wild boar.
