The route is easily reached at the starting point from the village of Tonara and at the arrival from the S.S. 389 road, and is therefore served by public transport.
The itinerary starts near the town of Tonara and crosses mainly places of naturalistic, anthropological and historical interest. The area’s numerous panoramic vantage points and the presence of old sheepfolds make for pleasant surroundings for hikers. The route has a loop trail that reaches path 501A and follows the line of the mountain ridge up to Punta Muggianeddu, from where you can return to Tonara.
