The pathway

The landscape crossed by the trail is characterized by holm oak, downy oak, cork oak and maquis shrubland.

The trail is known as the “San Francesco Path” since via the G 603 A trail, into which the 602 C converges, leads to the Franciscan monastery of Monte Rasu.

Useful informations

The trail has a total length of 3.4 km which can be walked in 2 hours and 20 minutes (1 hour and 40 minutes in reverse).

Roadbook

The trail begins at the monumental cork tree of Pedras Rujas (recently collapsed but still in place) and continues surrounded by woods and pastures which leads after 1.2km to the Caramaurpes pond.
