Trail 311, which mainly passes through thick vegetation, touches on some interesting historical heritage and archaeological sites, such as the Eba Giara (clear water) area, with pools excavated in the rock, and San Francesco towards Monte Furru, where an underground rock-cut chamber was an ancient production structure, typical of the Sassari area, for wine or oil making. A date, 1672 (or according to others 1634), is engraved on the square pillar in the front near the entrance, indicating the time the structure was used. On the eastern side, you can notice some openings filled with stones and a well.
Along this trail you will find the small country church of San Francesco, dated between the 17th and 18th centuries and with a façade divided into two orders by a cornice with a denticulated frieze. In the centre of the upper order there is a Venetian window with an arched central light, and two sidelights topped by a small entablature. The window is the only source of light for the church, which has a rectangular ground plan and barrel-vaulted ceiling. The interior has the altar with a niche and shell motif and a wooden statue of St Francis.
