The point of interest
How to get here
Ghirgini. At a sudden turn in the road, the unmistakable pyramidal shape of Su Toni de Ghirgini stands out. The term "toni" indicates an isolated limestone relief, surrounded only by different rocks: in this area, in addition to the main one, you encounter that of Genna Eragas, which could be reached by continuing to cycle to the right at the first intersection. Ghirgini was a very frequented area since ancient times, as revealed by a giant's tomb and the presence of remains of numerous villages. You can climb the limestone peak following a faint path that keeps to the ridge, starting right from the open space where you arrived. From the top, the vast panorama sweeps across the majesty of the Gennargentu massif, which embraces the visitor with its vast slopes. Return to Desulo via the same road you took to get there.
