Noci Barracks, headquarters of the Forestas Agency.
In front of the gate of the beautiful structures, where the Sardinian Deer Museum is also located, you will find the trail markers on the left. Descend alongside the barracks fence, through holm oak forest mixed with pine reforestation, and then reach a wide clearing where some eucalyptus trees grow after crossing an old dirt road. Ford the Riu Campu Omu stream, beginning to ascend with a beautiful mule track through the woods and keeping right at the next fork, soon reaching the forest track that connects the barracks to the mountain peaks.
