The point of interest

The toponym, which means "Fern Gate," is easily reachable via and represents a junction point of the hiking network and local roads, offering, among other things, a splendid panorama over the wooded and evocative valley of the Tacchi, and towards Perda Liana. It is located in a natural saddle between two peaks that reach an altitude of about 1000 meters above sea level.

How to get here

Traveling along the paved Tonneri road, at the "Villagrande Station" height, towards Gairo Taquisara, you arrive at Genna Filixi, the "gateway" to the forest perimeter called Perda Liana. From this point, the circular route around the natural monument begins.
