The Correboi Pass (or Arcu Correboi) at 1246 meters above sea level is the highest drivable mountain pass in Sardinia.
Located in the Gennargentu massif, it separates the territories of Barbagia from those of Ogliastra, as well as forming the natural watershed between the Taloro-Tirso and Flumendosa basins.
Originally the only pass on the State Road 389 of Buddusò and Correboi, in everyday use it has been replaced by the Correboi tunnel on the new high-speed road, classified as State Road 389 var Nuoro-Lanusei.
In addition to its traditional uses for grazing and transhumance, recalled in the eponymous song "Correboi" from Giuseppe Masia's 1993 album "Buffa!", and thanks to the beauty of the surrounding landscape, the pass is now a popular destination especially for motorcycle and bicycle tourists. On the summit, there is a small statue of the Madonna, and nearby is the Correboi mine of the same name in the territory of Villagrande.
