Medau Monte Nieddu - end point of Trail D-206

The building is in the Monte Nieddu Forest, about half of which falls within the SCI ITB 001105 - ‘Foresta di Monte Arcosu’ while another part falls within the ‘Gutturu Mannu - Monte Arcosu’ permanent wildlife protection oasis (Decrees 102 of 20.07.78 and 1240 of 15.11.88). The Bidda Mores locality has been designated Area of Significant Naturalistic Interest by Regional Law 31/89. Near Santa Barbara you will enjoy the striking and unique sight of the Bidda Mores canal, a deep ditch carved into the granite rock.
