Main features and tips for enjoying the trail

This is an important connecting trail that connects Linas Sheepfold, a landmark location in this mountain area, with Genna de Muru Mannu, passing through the stream channel of the same name. At the trail end point you will find other trails, including those leading to Scoveri (currently unmarked) and from there to the area of Marganai and to the Fluminimaggiore area (on other trails currently being maintained.
The trail is mainly on dirt tracks or old mule tracks.

• While the route is not particularly strenuous, overall the difficulty, distance and walking time to get to this area (via other trails) can be challenging: therefore, it is recommended for physically fit and experienced hikers, although the gradients encountered along the route are only steep in some places.
• it is essential to carry a good amount of water.
• Along the route, especially through the valleys, there may be no cell service, so it is better not to venture out alone, and to be accompanied by experienced people. 
• In severe weather, in light of the area’s terrain these trails can be exposed to significant hydrogeological hazards.
• Given the heights reached, in case of low clouds, fog or unstable weather you might encounter low visibility conditions along the route, making orientation difficult.
