The route starts, at an altitude of 845 m, at the cave of Su Marmuri, one of the largest in Europe.
The first stretch leads steeply uphill (15% gradient) for just over one kilometre, taking you to an altitude of 930m a.s.l.
This is followed by a gradual descent which, after 5 kilometres, leads back down the valley to an altitude of 690m.
From here, a further stretch of over 6 km, all uphill, takes you back to the highest point reached on this trail (965 m a.s.l.).
The last section, which runs to around 2 km, returns to the Su Marmuri cave without significant variations in elevation.
