The town of Laconi stands on a midslope ridge of the Sarcidano plateau, at approximately 500 to 635 m asl.
The municipality comprises three locality: ‘Crastu’ located in the lowland of the territory, ‘S.Sofia’ and ‘Su Lau’ on the Sarcidano plateau. Laconi’s territory has still large forest areas and is rich in springs.
