The trail starts in the Gedili locality, at the junction with Trail C 503 a. Following it heading south, you will reach the Sa Tappara canyon, with its imposing vertical limestone walls, at the end of which you can admire Cuore mio, an art installation created by Marcello Maloberti in 2019, part of the Maria Lai Open-Air Museum.
From here, you will reach the northern outskirts of the town near the Lavatoio comunale (the old town washhouse), which has been turned into an art project by artists Maria Lai, Costantino Nivola and Guido Strazza. Other works by Maria Lai include the Stations of the Cross, in the nearby church of Sant’Antioco, The Blackboard, which bears the inscription Art Takes Us by the Hand, The Game of the Goose’s Flight, the small Terracotta Books, The Stitched Goats, the ‘Road of the Rite’ and many others.
The trail continues inside the village, heading east along Via Santa Croce for about 580 m until you reach the Marosini locality (692 m asl). Here you will resume the uphill path, which will lead you back up to the tacco, passing next to huge limestone rocks and a break in the rock face, crossing a strip of stone pine forest you will get back to the Gedili locality.
