This observation point is located near the summit of Mount Ferru; the lookout is actually situated slightly lower: 850 meters above sea level, while the summit reaches 875 meters.
It can be reached by following the trail, or a winding side road (the last section is very rough, not suitable for all cars).
The view sweeps from the Tertenia coast, to the Gennargentu mountains, the entire Pardu valley, and the inland and coastal Supramonte areas.
CURIOSITIES
The summit of Monteferru is called 'S'ingannadori' - meaning 'the devil' - by the locals, in Sardinian, perhaps due to the difficult accessibility of the place.
